Alexius Miller is a seasoned litigator with more than twenty years of experience. Her expertise lies in handling complex law and motion matters and devising effective case strategies. By delving deep into the law and facts, Alexius maximizes case value, consistently delivering optimal outcomes for her clients. She contributes to both trial and appellate proceedings, skillfully drafting briefs, compiling and analyzing legislative history, tracking emerging areas of law, exploring novel issues, evaluating analytical data, and staying abreast of the latest advancements in legal technology. 

Alexius brings a distinctive perspective to her role, fortified by her experience litigating high-impact civil rights, consumer, and commercial cases as a Deputy Attorney General at the California Attorney General’s Office, as well as serving as Counsel at the Judicial Council of California. Her insight and strategic acumen are further enriched by her five years of service as a Staff Attorney at the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, solidifying her expertise in all facets of the court and providing a well-rounded understanding of the legal landscape. 

Apart from her legal practice, Alexius is deeply committed to legal education. She has served as a law lecturer at the University of California Hastings College of the Law and Temple University in Tokyo, Japan. She has played a vital role in developing curriculum and instructing courses on various subjects, including legal research, writing, moot court, appellate advocacy, and state and federal law practice and procedure. Alexius’s contributions as an Adjunct Professor consistently earned her recognition, including the esteemed Best Moot Court Professor award at UC Hastings College of the Law. 

During her leisure time, Alexius cherishes time with her family. She is an enthusiastic traveler and enjoys an active lifestyle through the sport of Muay Thai kickboxing, showcasing her resilience and strength both within and beyond the courtroom. Known for her compassionate nature and empathetic approach, Alexius always upholds her word, striving to exceed expectations at every turn.
