Education

Nicola Larmond-Harvey, R.N., M.B.A., J.D., is a nurse attorney who combines her experience and passion for nursing and the law in her advocacy for individuals suffering disparities in the legal and healthcare delivery system.

Nicola graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Connecticut School of Nursing in 2004, a Master’s in Healthcare Administration from American Intercontinental University in 2006, and a Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law in 2013. While attending Stetson, Nicola received the prestigious American Association of Nurse Attorneys award.

While in law school, Nicola was Law Clerk to the Honorable Judge Claudia Isom at the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit, Tampa, Florida. Upon graduation in 2013, Nicola joined the law firm of Saunders & Walker, P.A, where she practiced in the areas of medical device and drugs Product Liability, Medical Malpractice, and Personal Injury until 2022.

In 2021, Nicola was appointed by a federal judge, The Honorable Robin Rosenberg, to the In Re: Zantac (Ranitidine) Products Liability Litigation to the Leadership Development Committee and later to the Plaintiffs Steering Committee.

Throughout her RN and attorney practice, Nicola has experienced and seen the impact of racial inequalities that continue to marginalize individuals from minority communities; she joins the team at May Jung as an advocate for change.

Nicola is a wife and mother of three children. When not working for her clients, Nicola enjoys spending time in the country of her birth Jamaica or traveling to experience new cultures and foods.
