Jessica Jackson

Jessica “Jessie” Jackson is a highly skilled and dedicated paralegal professional with over 15 years of experience in the legal field. She started her legal career as a file clerk in the legal industry at 20 years of age, and since then she has absorbed every aspect of pre-litigation and litigation legal support. With a procedural command and robust background in multiple fields of law on both the Plaintiff and Defense side, she brings a unique perspective to her chosen field of work. Her expertise lies in document drafting, legal research, and project deadline management.

Jessie is passionate about the work done at May Jung because of her unwavering belief in the promise of the Equal Protection Clause of the 14th Amendment. She has seen the effects of unfair treatment due to discrimination both personally and professionally. Having lost a family member to senseless police brutality, and witnessing the treatment of poor, and minority defendants within the judicial system, she knows there is a lot of good work to be done and is not afraid to do it. Jessie brings a compassionate and empathetic approach to everything she touches.

In her spare time, Jessie enjoys, from scratch baking, volunteering in her community, and the occasional basketball session. She currently lives in Fifth Ward, Houston, Texas.
