Kameron Kima Coefield is an energetic executive leader and public servant with over two decades of experience in workforce development and strategic human capital planning. Known for securing unprecedented government funding, driving program innovation, and empowering staff growth, Kameron currently holds the position of Vice President of Operations at May Jung. In this role, she oversees various aspects of the firm’s daily functions and strategic initiatives. Her commitment is to ensure the seamless functioning of operational aspects, to deliver exceptional legal services to our valued clients.

Before joining May Jung, Kameron served as the Deputy Chief Human Resources Officer for the Office of Human Resource Management (OHRM) in Prince George’s County, working in the cabinet of county executive Angela D. Alsobrooks. In this role, she managed human resources functions for the county, achieving transformation and reorganization for 8,000 employees and 36 agencies. Kameron played a key role in the county’s response to COVID-19, implementing remote working capabilities and a return-to-work strategy.

Prior to OHRM, Kameron held the position of Division Chief for HR Business Operations and Performance at the Office of Human Resources (OHR) in Montgomery County, Maryland. She implemented wage equity compliance processes, legislative initiatives, and resolved classification study backlogs for a workforce of 10,000 employees.

As the Chief Operating Officer at the District of Columbia Department of Employment Services (DOES), Kameron managed agency operations and provided programmatic oversight. She facilitated the certification of the District’s American Job Centers and played a crucial role in the successful implementation of the One City • One Hire initiative.

Kameron’s career also includes serving as the District’s Associate Director of Benefits and Retirement Administration at the Department of Human Resources (DCHR), where she oversaw the administration of medical, dental, retirement, and supplemental health insurance plans.

In her role as Director of Administration at Third Way, a public policy think tank, Kameron was responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing personnel, conducting employee reviews, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

A native of Las Vegas, Nevada, Kameron holds degrees from Howard University and currently resides in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, with her husband, Rahsaan J. Coefield, Esq.
